Improvement work is due to start soon on Northborough village hall after the final legalities were approved on 12th March.

Nine-year-old Cara Termine from Lincoln Road, Northborough passed her black belt karate grading earlier this month with a 95.5%A score. Mum, Sara told the Tribune, “Cara has taken four years to achieve the black belt, which has involved a great deal of dedication and determination. We are very proud of her.” Cara is pictured performing a roundhouse kick.

Maxey village resident Debbie Hiller has been appointed as the Local Education Authority’s (LEA) governor at Northborough Primary School. She replaces Jo Newbold, who resigned after moving abroad. Debbie’s application was approved in December by Cllr Stephen Goldspink the city council’s cabinet member for education and children’s services.
