Open Day at Korea Wood  Sunday Sept 12th There will be Tractor & Trailer rides from Glinton & Peakirk via the wood & local wildlife experts will be on hand to explain its development. We also hope to provide teas at the village churches to help refresh weary travellers & all donations will go to these village churches. The Great Teddy Bear Parachute Jump Sunday 26th September (after the Harvest Praise Service at 10:30 a.m.)
Children welcome to bring Harvest Produce to the Service. Teddy will need parachute and sponsor form.
Forms available from St. Andrew’s and Northborough School. Refreshments will be served after the service.

St Benedict’s Church, Glinton, Back to Church Weekend October 2nd & 3rd Coinciding with our harvest festival, the congregation of St Benedict’s look forward to welcoming parishioners of all ages to our church over the weekend of 2nd & 3rd of October. There will be a workshop aimed at the young on Saturday 2nd October.  The focus of this will be to decorate the church for harvest, but there will be other activities to enjoy, the aim being to welcome all families into the church and inspire them to return for an ‘all ages’ Morning Prayer service at 10.30am on Sunday 3rd. Invitations will be sent to those who have visited and used the church for Baptisms or Weddings, but with whom we have lost touch. It would be lovely to welcome them back to church, together with anyone who would like to join us for this special weekend. You will all be most welcome.

Werrington Rotary Club Open Evening October 12th 7.45pm At the Golden Pheasant to show some of the projects they have undertaken and social events organised during the year.
