Glinton Friendship Club

At long last, Spring is truly here and all the members of the GFC are well into their exciting programme. After all the snow and illness bringing our numbers down, we are now full of beans!
The Club would like to welcome our newest members; Marjorie and Jeffrey, Brenda, Shirley, Nina and Pamela and hope they will be happy with us and add to our profile with their skills and knowledge!
The Chairman, Gladys has been very poorly and along with others suffering with assorted problems, we would like to wish them a speedy recovery. We had a superb open day with Silverfox, Jeremy’s Ladies Clothing, Our Pat’s Cards and a bring and buy, which raised a nice sum for our club funds.
Our AGM in February announced the start of our trips for the year, the first being to Springfield and Baytree. Also coming up are a demonstration of flower arranging by Busy Bees, a visit from our friends at the Thorney Friendship Club, a quiz by Barry, crafts and a sing-along with Kirsty.
