Cycle Ride is a Great Success

Organiser’s of the annual Liam Pridmore Memorial Cycle Ride and Fun Day would like to say a very big thank you to all those who took part in this year’s event. The event raised a total of £6,000, with the funds being donated to The Brain Tumour Charity, Teenage Cancer Trust and Cardiac Risk in the Young.

The day, held in early September provided three different rides for all abilities – a 60, 25 and kids’ 5 mile ride, with over 500 people attending or riding on the day. The event receives the overwhelming support of the village communities in the Glinton and Deepings areas and is also sponsored by both Princeenergy and The Golden Pheasant in Etton. The team will be looking to improve things even further for next year’s event so SAVE THE DATE which will be Saturday 3rd September 2016 at the Golden Pheasant in Etton.
