A great event enjoyed on Saturday (12th December) by many from the village and beyond! Brilliant organisation by the Village Hall team and a grateful thanks to all the volunteers who made it happen. Brilliant extras this year were the beautifully crafted Prince Energy supplied ‘test your skill and steady hand’ electronic game administered by Maxey resident Mark Asplin and the traditional Nurdles old-penny throwing competition which was such a success at the village summer fete. Our venerable Father Christmas was in steadfast attendance as usual, in his atmospheric Grotto…. All good stuff and the village should be proud.
